Winners gather at super ceremony!

Overall Winner, 12-15, Owen Hearn

Ooh, it’s been a truly fantastic day at The Tower of London as this year’s RSPCA Young Photographer Awards winners have been announced.

And, I am delighted to say that 15-year-old Owen Hearn is the overall winner! His wonderful photograph of a seal at sunrise really overwhelmed the judges.

Under 12s

Owen wasn’t the only winner, 11-year-old Will Jenkins’ great photograph of a ctenosaur (a type of lizard) popping its head out of a drain cover won the Under 12 Years category and Abbie Phipps (15) won the Making Life Better category with her photo of her brave rescue dog, Dolly.

There were super prizes awarded for all the other categories too, which produced some outstanding photos. Why not take a look at all the other entries we received?

Hello, I'm Christine and I'm part of the team who work on the Animal Action magazine. I've been at the RSPCA for quite a while and just love being part of such a great organisation. My most favourite animals are dogs and I have a soft spot for Westies.
