Make a cool calendar!

Are you feeling creative?

We’re already a month into 2015 – how time flies when you’re having fun! There are still 11 months of the year left though – plenty of time to make and use this cool calendar. You can choose your favourite pictures to decorate it and make sure you change them each month.

  • 5 colourful envelopes

  • Pencil

  • Ruler

  • Scissors

  • Glue

  • Old greetings cards, postcards and photos

  • Black felt-tip pen

  • Coloured pencils

  • White paper

  • Large piece of card

Here’s what to do:

1. Draw a 20cm frame on the front of each envelope and cut a slit in the top. Cut out the frame very carefully, leaving the back of the envelope in one piece.

2. Cut out pieces of white paper to fit snugly in the envelopes – 12 for the months and 12 for the dates. Trim your pictures to fit in the envelopes.

3. Use the black felt-tip pen to write the months of the year and the dates. Write the numbers 0 to 10. You will need an extra 1 and 2. Colour in the outline lettering.

4. Glue the backs of the envelopes onto the card, making sure that the slits are at the top. Now, put the pictures, months and dates in the envelopes.

Now you’ll never forget the date!

Hi, I'm a dairy cow and I'm lucky enough to live on a Freedom Food farm. I'm pretty chilled out and can't wait to hear what you think about our blog. If you need any advice I'm your cow. You'll probably find me talking about happy tails - my favourite things in the world. I just love a happy ending!
