Winners of the Freedom Food Compassionate Cook competition 2014 are announced!

Congratulations to Katie Armitage from the Wirral, who is the judges’ junior winner of the Freedom Food Compassionate Cook competition 2014. Katie sent in this video  of her making a hot chocolate-inspired pudding using Freedom Food eggs.

Super-duper dish!

Katy Ashworth, presenter of CBeebies’ I Can Cook and Freedom Food Compassionate Cook competition judge, said: “Katie had a super-duper tasty dish and presented the recipe with her natural charisma and made me chuckle. She did a great job at keeping the audience informed about Freedom Food products too.”

Popular winner

The ‘people’s winner’ prize went to another junior entrant, Aneesah Hussain from Manchester, whose very entertaining and informative chicken quesadillas received an amazing 13,157 public votes!

Both Katie and Aneesah received £500 worth of grocery shopping and a Compassionate Cook trophy.
