Drum roll please…

It was a truly fantastic day at the Tower of London this year as the winners of the RSPCA Young Photographer Awards 2016 were announced.

The photographs this year were described by judge Chris Packham as: “The strongest year for a while – particularly for Under 12 Years entries.” That’s your category! So, if you didn’t enter this year, be inspired by these photos and be sure to enter next year!

And the winner is…

We are delighted to reveal that Kyle Moore (18) is the overall winner with his stunning photograph of a fox, called Park life!

Under 12 Years Winner is…

Unlucky perch by Magnus McLeod (11)

Magnus says: “This bearded tit managed to get himself stuck doing the splits because he had the misfortune to perch himself on two separate reeds and then have the wind sway them apart.”

Why not take a look at all the other finalists’ winning photos?

The RSPCA Young Photographer Awards 2017 opens for entries on 8 May 2017.
