It’s thought that the three kittens, then two days old, were born to a feral cat – who possibly abandoned them – in a Walsall factory.
When RSPCA animal collection officer (ACO) Catherine Strawford arrived, she found three kittens who were very cold but alive, and one who had sadly died…
But now the surviving kittens – a girl, who’s been named Rose, and two boys named Percy and Max – are being hand reared by Catherine and her family!
Catherine says: “It was so sad to find them in such a state but the surviving three are pulling through and have become very lively! We’re so glad they are doing well.
“We’re trying really hard to find their mum so she can be checked over and neutered. We really hope she is okay, as there could be a number of reasons why she didn’t go back to her kittens.”
“They had a terrible start in life, but I really believe they will keep getting stronger and stronger. They’re so cute and I can’t stop taking photos and videos of them!”
