Dog-lover and singer Peter Andre meets rescue pooches to launch RSPCA My Big Walkies!

Peter loves dogs and he’s helping the RSPCA to encourage other animal lovers to walk 10,000 steps every day in October to raise money for our animals. The dog-loving celebrity met up with rescue dogs William and Woody, to promote the RSPCA’s My Big Walkies event.

Peter said: “It’s important to remember how much happiness dogs bring to our lives. Sadly there are many dogs which are ill-treated every day and the RSPCA works incredibly hard to combat animal cruelty.

“Taking part in My Big Walkies will help raise money so the RSPCA can carry out its vital work.

“It’s also a fantastic opportunity to get out and about with your dog, while helping less fortunate dogs at the same time. It’ll be fun, great for your health and fitness, great for your dog and it’s all for a fantastic cause – the RSPCA.”

Join up to My Big Walkies

The RSPCA’s My Big Walkies challenge will take place throughout October.  Animal-lovers who sign up to My Big Walkies will be sponsored to take 10,000 steps a day throughout October with or without their dog. The money raised will go towards helping the RSPCA rescue animals from cruelty.

Hello, I'm Christine and I'm part of the team who work on the Animal Action magazine. I've been at the RSPCA for quite a while and just love being part of such a great organisation. My most favourite animals are dogs and I have a soft spot for Westies.
