Summer’s arrived and so has the latest issue of Animal action

Brilliant bunnies are our cover stars and, as there are about 1.5 million pet rabbits being kept in the UK, we remind you of what’s needed to keep your rabbit happy and healthy.

This issue is packed with animal stories, news, competitions and activities – as always!

Here’s a little taste of what’s inside:

Rescued and rehomed – read all about brave horse Kastone, rescued by the RSPCA when he was just skin and bones, he’s now back to full health, and taking part in show jumping and eventing.

Poo extremes – yes, you read that right. Which animal’s poo could fill a swimming pool? Find out whose poo is the stinkiest and why some animals eat their own – yuk!

Awesome RSPCA – check out the second part of our picture series about the amazing, nearly 200-year history of the RSPCA.

Puzzle pages and more – this issue is all about beaches and seashores – do you know your terns from your gulls? Check out the answers below (but no peeking first!).

PLUS brilliant competitions with fabulous prizes to be won.

There’s plenty more inside of course, and we know you’ll love it, so….enjoy!

Hello, I'm Christine and I'm part of the team who work on the Animal Action magazine. I've been at the RSPCA for quite a while and just love being part of such a great organisation. My most favourite animals are dogs and I have a soft spot for Westies.

So pleased to hear that your niece’s children love animals and hope they enjoy the magazine. The puzzles answers are a pdf attachment towards the bottom of the blog post. Do let me know if you are still experiencing problems accessing the answers. Many thanks.
