YPA is going places!

Award-winning images from the RSPCA Young Photographer Awards headed from the Tower of London to another historic landmark – the House of Commons!

The 31 winning images were displayed for a week in the Upper Waiting Hall – originally Poet’s Hall – alongside paintings showing the works of Shakespeare, Milton and other celebrated British poets.

Special guests

The winning young photographers and their families were invited to attend the exhibition, meet their local MP and enjoy a tour of Parliament.

“This is the first time we have shown the winning entries in a public exhibition and we are really excited that MPs, Peers and visiting members of the public will see them,” says Anita Morris, who co-ordinated the RSPCA Young Photographer Awards 2016.

Love photography?

If you are a budding young photographer, or know someone who is, why not take part in the RSPCA Young Photographer Awards 2017? The competition opens for entries on 8 May 2017.

Hello, I'm Christine and I'm part of the team who work on the Animal Action magazine. I've been at the RSPCA for quite a while and just love being part of such a great organisation. My most favourite animals are dogs and I have a soft spot for Westies.
