This month’s animal action is a little bit different.

It’s your pocket-size, fold-out issue full of activities and stories to entertain you this autumn – check out the picture below to see what you can expect to find on your doorstep!

Things to make

We show you how to make cheese and marmite scones or have a go at turning a plastic bottle into a minibeast city! What about creating a bee box or a bug hotel? If you fancy something a little less outdoorsy you can always make some yummy toffee apples, busy yourself with our puzzles – you can see the answers here or have a go at a bat doodle.

Pig Popper (27425) boyThings to win

Don’t miss out on our two great competitions. You could win an Animal Popper – see the pig version on the left – or RSPCA Cake making kit!

Don’t forget your download!

This issue’s download will really help you get ready for school  – it’s an autumn-themed desk tidy!

We want to hear from you!

This edition of animal action is pretty different from our other magazines so we need to know what you think. Please take our poll below and, if you’ve got time, you can even leave a comment below.

Hi, I'm Sarah and I look after our fantastic junior membership. I've been at the RSPCA for seven years and I've loved every minute. There are so many dogs around the office - it's great to get to know them all! I love animals and used to have five amazing pet rats. And, in case you didn't know, rats are possibly THE best pet. Well to me anyway. I don't have a favourite animal though - I think they're all amazing. I've even started to like spiders a bit more, weird I know! The thing I enjoy most is seeing animals in their natural habitat - to me there's not much more thrilling than that.
