If you’re looking for something fun, interactive and educational to keep the kids busy over half term then RSPCA Animal Champion is the perfect idea for you.

It’s a brand new scheme for anyone aged 6-12, and running for the first time during February half term. It’s designed to give you and your children fun and interactive things to do on their holidays, whilst also helping them learn the important lessons about how to care for animals.

Lina, aged seven, took part last October

I think RPSCA Animal Champion is awesome! I really liked the different challenges and it was exciting to finish all five and become an Animal Champion.

Lina’s mum Karema said

The great thing about RSPCA’s Animal Champion is it helps children become aware of some of the problems faced by animals, but in a fun and interactive way. I even learnt a few things myself!

There is a wide variety of activities to choose from

RSPCA Animal Champion © RSPCAIt costs £15 to sign up, and they’ll receive a toolkit through the post with 17 different animal themed activities to choose from. They’ll also get posters, stickers and other materials to help them with the activities. Some they can do on their own at home or in the garden, and others you can do together in the local area.

Once the pack arrives, you can sit down together to choose their favourite five challenges including one small fundraising challenge.

Once they complete their five activities, we’ll send them an RSPCA Animal Champion certificate and award.
